The first ARChE_Net workshop (Adaptation of Ruminant Systems to a Changing Environment) took place from April 25 to 29, 2013 in Saint-Pierre, Reunion.

The aim was to bring together project partners from seven Indian Ocean countries (Australia, the Comoros, India, Madagascar, Mozambique, Reunion and South Africa) to debate the environmental and social challenges facing ruminant livestock systems (climate change, drought, changes in precipitation, soil fertility and food security).
